About Treasure Coast Chorale
OUR MISSION
Founded in 2001 by Dr. Michael Carter as an offshoot of the Vero Beach Choral Society, the non-profit Treasure Coast Chorale’s mission is to share these of choral music “In Harmony with Our Community."
MEET OUR DIRECTOR
Dr. Carter has been the minister of music since September 1996 for the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach. Dr. Carter is responsible for its entire music program, overseeing choirs for children, youth and adults, as well as a hand-bell choir and the church’s annual community presentation of Handel’s Messiah, first performed at First Baptist in 1970.

As a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, only a small percentage of the chorale’s funding comes from the suggested $20 donation collected at each concert. THANK YOU for investing in the joy of music, power of song and the spirit of our community.

Information for Members
All rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7:00–8:30 PM at the MUSIC MINISTRY CENTER of First Baptist Church (click this link for a campus map). Our season runs from Labor Day through May. Give us a call at (540) 809-3778 or drop in to observe a rehearsal.
(Rehearsals begin on the Monday following Labor Day in September and conclude in May with our last concert of the season.)
